Benidorm City Council recalls that this second call is open to more shops, activities and services
Until July 2, the Ayudas Paréntesis of the June call can be requested
Until 11:59 p.m. on July 2, aid can be requested for the new phase of ‘Parenthesis Grants’ that Benidorm City Council launched on June 11. The bases of the call can be consulted at : https://sede.benidorm.org
The Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez recalled that "in this second phase we have expanded the range of companies and professionals of up to 10 workers who can benefit from this economic injection of 2,000 euros, to which 200 euros 'extra' are added for each worker discharged on December 31, 2020 ”.
The objective is, said the councilor, "to serve all sectors and reach the maximum possible number of companies and freelancers in Benidorm", so she encouraged to process the aid. The intention of the City Council is not to leave anyone without the possibility of accessing aid for businesses, activities and services so affected by the pandemic.
As explained by the mayor, in this second call for ‘Parenthesis Grants’ can participate “companies and freelancers from the sectors included in the first phase without tax domicile in Benidorm but with an establishment open in the city”; The number of sectors is expanded and among them, "those related to commerce, taxis, hairdressers and beauty centers or washing and dry cleaning centers". The new CNAE included in this call are listed in the annex to the bases.
For this new phase there is an economic endowment of about 3.2 million euros, financed by the Generalitat, the Alicante Provincial Council and Benidorm City Council.
In the first phase of the ‘Parenthesis Grants’, nearly 900 companies and freelancers have been awarded just over 2 million euros. For this second call, Gómez specified, "we maintain the same procedure for the electronic submission of applications through the Electronic Office."
There is still time, Gómez recalled, "until July 2", for potential beneficiaries to collect the necessary documentation and formalize, in a single application, the aid file, thereby "speeding up its evaluation and resolution."
