Toni Pérez meets a representation of Scout Horizontes Group before the start of its ‘Solar Round’
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, met this morning with a representation of monitors of Grupo Scout Horizontes prior to the start of its 44th ‘Solar Round’, which will begin on October 2 in Parque de la Séquia Mare. A meeting in which the Councilor for Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, has also participated, and in which the entity has transferred to the mayor the illusion of the beginning of this new "Solar Round", in which the camping activity is resumed.
In this regard, the entity has recalled that in the previous 'Solar Round' the activity of the Horizontes Scout Group had to be modulated to the circumstances and restrictions of the pandemic, organizing, in coordination with the City Council, visits to Tossal de la Cala, El Castell or the sculpture exhibition of Hung-Yi.
During the meeting, the ‘scout’ board was interested in the progress of the shelter and camp project in Séquia Mare Park; a camp that, as announced by the mayor in September 2019, will bear the name of José Antonio Añón, founder of Scout Group 'Horizontes de Benidorm'.
