After the speeches by the outgoing president, Toni Mayor, and the incoming president, Fede Fuster, the president of the Provincial Council of Alicante, Carlos Mazón, and the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig; among them, the mayor of Benidorm.

Pérez has highlighted the importance of the relay, pointing out that the venue, the Auditorium of the Cultural Center of Benidorm, has been a constant demand of the presidents of HOSBEC and of Mayor in particular.

Before the team that he relieves, Pérez has indicated that they are "the best to raise the voice of the sector and the permanent vindication", demanding "active listening" to learn from HOSBEC: listen to who knows the most to act accordingly".

Regarding the 14 years of Mayor's presidency, Pérez summarized them in that "there are no limits to excellence" pointing out the more than 300 companies that today are part of HOSBEC, from 43 tourist destinations offering more than 100,000 seats. For the mayor of Benidorm, "there has never been a better supporter for the sector" and the replacement, he pointed out, "has plenty of energy."

With HOSBEC, highlighted the mayor of Benidorm, "we have shared everything" in good times and bad, pointing out his involvement in the Benidorm Tourism Foundation and teamwork with Visit Benidorm.

Toni Pérez pointed out that "Tourism requires certainties, investments, infrastructures and affection" from the different Administrations and focused his criticism of the Tourist Tax tax: "I am not going to allow President Mazón not to remove the tourist tax, because I know it is a mistake, and President Puig allows me to say this because he knows that there is nothing worse than a politician assuming things in which he does not believe.

He transferred the new president the commitment to resolve the "shared claim regarding the improvement in street cleaning, because it is something that we will solve and that Benidorm needs", pointing out that he has "my word".
