The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has advocated for a “full integration and connection of the city with the residential center”

Today Ciudad Patricia celebrates the 40th anniversary of its foundation, which has become a benchmark in residential complexes for the elderly

Ciudad Patricia celebra hoy el 40 aniversario de su fundación convertida en referente en complejos residenciales para la tercera edad

Ciudad Patricia Residential Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary since it landed in Benidorm. 40 years in which it has become a benchmark in residences for the elderly with facilities designed for the leisure and enjoyment of its clients.

Today's event, held in the central building of the complex, was attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez, the councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, and the Presidency, Juan Díaz, who were accompanied by representatives of the Adriano Care company, manager of the complex, and the Dutch consul, Eric de Haan.

The director of the apartments, Nadine Sweers, has evoked the birth of Ciudad Patricia and the 'Living with Care' concept of Peter Jacobs, the previous director of the complex. “You can look back with pride on these last few years,” said Sweers, who also revealed that in this time the residential center has had more than 98% occupancy.

In May 2022 the complex was acquired by Adriano Care, whose first project was the modernization of the central building and implementing top quality finishes in the apartments. “A new era has begun,” said Javier Picón, managing partner of the company, who also highlighted the fact that it has become “a kind of international community with eight nationalities and more than 200 residents.” Picón has also highlighted the “commitment” of his company, which has a large number of residences in Spain. “We have updated the facilities with a comprehensive renovation plan. Our commitment to well-being with residents is the maximum to offer them all the services so that they have a more comfortable life,” he said.

The Dutch consul also intervened, emphasizing that the new direction “transmits vitality to the people.” He has also asked that “institutions continue to support Ciudad Patricia and these companies that do so much for the city and the elderly.”

The event was closed by the mayor, who highlighted that the Ciudad Patricia project “offers living more and with greater quality; In short, have a better life.” Toni Pérez has congratulated the managers and staff of the center and the residents, whom he has described as “full-fledged Benidorm residents.” Finally, the first mayor has opted to “invite everyone to participate in a project so that the connection and integration of the city with Ciudad Patricia is full.”

Ciudad Patricia began its history with the help of the investor José Luis Pérez Arroyo from San Sebastian, who planned the construction of the apartment complex with a medical center focused on elderly people who wanted to stay and live in Benidorm, in the foothills of Sierra Helada. It covers around 100,000 square meters and has several resort apartment blocks, a medical center, and a large number of leisure facilities for residents.
