A thousand young people 'squat on the street' for a week doing sports activities to mark the Mobility Week

Italia street has hosted throughout the week, on the occasion of the European Week of Mobility, a new initiative to promote sports activity in the streets called 'Okupa la calle' which has been attended by nearly a thousand young people.

The road, next to the new intermodal station, has remained closed to traffic during the evenings, organizing different activities such as skating, floorball, minibasket, volleyball, basketball exhibitions by the Basketball Club Servigroup Benidorm, zumba, aerobics and popular games. In addition, during the last days, inflatable castles and a human foosball court were installed.

The activity has been closed with an exhibition in charge of the Benidorm Skating Club, which has had a great acceptance in a day that focused especially on the adapted sport.
