13 July 2020
‘Suc de síndria’, de Irene Moray, mejor película de ficción del Skyline Benidorm Film Festival

The fourth edition of Skyline Benidorm Film Festival collected its virtual red carpet last night after the award for the best fiction film to ‘Suc de Síndria’ by the director Irene Moray from Barcelona.

The gala of the awards, such as the exhibition of films in competition, has been virtual, due to the exceptional nature of the situation generated by the Covid-19. In spite of everything, and thanks to the effort and commitment of the organization, the shorts of the official sections have been able to be viewed through the streaming platform, Filmin. Likewise, the awards have been delivered, also online, through the festival's social networks.

In addition to ‘Suc de Síndria’ award, the prize list has been as follows: prize for the best documentary film, ‘Malakooti’, by Javier Gómez Bello; award for the best animated film, ‘Candela’, by Anna Solanas and Marc Ribas; award for the best soundtrack, 'La tierra llamando a Ana', by Fernando Bonelli; award for the best direction, ’16 of December ’, by Álcaro Gago; prize for the best photography, ‘A ninguna parte’, by Dani Toleto; award for the best production ‘Benidorm 2017’, by Claudia Costafreda; award for best Shortpitch, ‘La temporada más fría’, by Dani Toledo and Mammut; award for best screenplay contest, 'Papá está de viaje ’, by Nacho Solís; À Punt Media Award for the best Valencian short film, ‘Confeti’ by Mila Luengo and Sergi Miralles; award for the best student short films, ‘Mugak’, by Flavia Vila.

The organization of the festival plans to open the bases of the fifth edition of Skyline Benidorm Film Festival next September.
