The audiovisual proposals bear the signature of students of ESO, Baccalaurate and Vocational Training

The students of 'Documóvil' finalize 5 short films on gender equality that will be released at the end of summer

07 July 2023
El alumnado del ‘Documóvil’ ultima el montaje de los 5 cortometrajes sobre igualdad de género que se estrenarán a final de verano

The five short films of the 'Documóvil' project, promoted by the Department of Equality, are practically ready for their premiere at the end of summer. The students of ESO, Baccalaureate, and training cycles attached to the program have been working in recent days on the assembly of the 'shorts' in a space set up by the Department in the town hall building, thus culminating a process that began months ago with script writing.

The councilor for the department, Ángela Zaragozí, recalled that "it is the students themselves, around twenty students, who write, script, shoot and interpret the short films, reflecting in these proposals their vision of equality and theoretical and practical knowledge acquired throughout the course. And for this, they use the skills they have acquired in audiovisual creation and production and the professional equipment that we make available to them”.

Zaragozí indicated that "in each short film, the participants pour all their talent and creativity into dealing with gender equality and addressing issues such as gender roles, sexist violence, LGBTI diversity or new current realities linked to this topic”.

The mayor stressed that "year after year 'Documóvil' has grown in quality and scope, consolidating itself as an extracurricular activity and gaining more and more support from people who are dedicated to the audiovisual world, who participate and collaborate altruistically with the Projects".

Finally, she indicated "We are looking forward to seeing the result of this work, something that will happen at the end of summer, when we premiere these five short films in a public screening, as we have done in previous years."
