The show ‘Menjars de la Terra’ distributes more than 2,000 portions of tradition and gastronomy

The eighteenth edition of the exhibition ‘Menjars de la Terra’ has been celebrated today at the Hermitage of Sanz. Organized by the Comissió de Sant Antoni, with the collaboration of the Department of Fiestas, the event aims to "recover the traditional cuisine of Benidorm" so that residents and visitors "can enjoy some flavors that we do not want to be lost," said the President of the party people, Cristobal Ronda.

The Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles and other corporate partners; the queens of the Festes Majors Patronals 2019, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor; the presidents of the Comissió and the Associació de Penyes ‘Verge del Sofratge’, Roberto Carretero and Coli Pérez, have clothed the Sant Antoni partiers and, of course, tasted the extensive gastronomic offer of the show.

The "Menjars de la Terra" have managed to gather around 800 people since its opening at 12 noon. They have distributed more than 2,000 portions of buns a la palette, olleta de blat, Arròs amb fesols, paellas, fideuà, coca a la calda, coca farcida, or bunyols de carabassa, among others.
