Rocío Brotherhood awards María del Carmen Amador the medal of president of the brotherhood

Yesterday, Friday, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Rocío in Benidorm celebrated Mass and the imposition of the medal on the new president of the brotherhood, María del Carmen Amador Cerzuela, who takes over from Maribel Sances for the next pilgrimage in 2026. The ceremony took place at the parish of Our Lady of Almudena, the canonical seat of the Brotherhood.
The Councilor for Festivals, Mariló Cebreros, accompanied the new Senior Sister in the moments before the Eucharist, which was also attended by other members of the Municipal Corporation, along with the Vice President of the Brotherhood, Francisco José Forques; the parish priest of La Almudena, Pedro Crespo; the Episcopal Vicar of Marina Baixa, Juan Bautista Sellés; as well as numerous brothers and devotees of the Virgin of Rocío, both from Benidorm and other parts of the province.
The councillor responsible for Festivals publicly congratulated María del Carmen Amador on her election and awarding of her medal as senior sister and wished her the best of luck in her duties, a wish she extended to the entire board of directors and members of this brotherhood.
