The Queen of the Harvest of La Casa de La Mancha visits the mayor of Benidorm

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, accompanied by the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, has received this morning in his office a delegation of Casa de La Mancha in Benidorm and the region that has recently held its general assembly.

The delegation was formed by the Queen of La Vendimia, Nuria Mejías Díaz; the secretary, Antonio Mejías; the treasurer, Mercedes Escribano and a large group of members of the board of the association. During the meeting, which lasted little more than 45 minutes, the Queen gave the mayor a 'fofucha' Manchega (doll in traditional dress) and candies from Hellín (Albacete).
