The pool and gym of Palau d'Esports l’Illa will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday, March 16, its doors for subscribers, with a capacity of 30% and until 9:30 p.m. Benidorm City Council has adapted the opening hours of these facilities in view of the Resolution published today by Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública, which introduces corrections to the one issued last Thursday, so that the closure of both facilities and the rest of the courts will take place at 9:30 p.m., as well as the outdoor installations, and not at 8:00 p.m. as initially established.
The subscribers of the municipal sports facilities must reserve the use of them, starting today, Monday, on the phone 966815472 or on the website of the Department of Sports.
The Department of Sports, led by Mariló Cebreros, has recalled that the Resolution of the Conselleria establishes that the sport of individual modalities outdoors or in covered facilities is limited to a maximum of 4 people, plus a monitor, without physical contact and keeping the safety distance. In closed facilities, the use of a mask will be mandatory. The use of the changing rooms of the facilities is authorized, but not the showers.
Regarding the Infant and Primary school-age population, outside of school hours, can practice sports activities and outdoor training with up to 10 athletes, plus the monitor, in a stable group, without physical contact and with distance of security. The training sessions will be without public and the minors' companions may not stay in or in the facilities or in the surroundings, asking that crowds be avoided when dropping off and picking up the minors at the facilities.
The participation of people in the educational stages of Infantile and Primary in competitions is not allowed, except for official competitions.
It should be noted that all sports competitions, activities and events organized by public or private entities, in all sports categories and modalities, with the exception of regional sports competitions that grant a right to promote to national championships or competitions and the essential ones, are still suspended. to obtain the official classification for championships of state level. The official professional international and state competitions, and the non-professional official international and state competitions will continue to be held in accordance with their rules, protocols and restrictions, with a maximum capacity of 150 people.
As for the practicing athletes, they will access the facilities to compete or train with a certificate from the corresponding Federation, which certifies the participation of the athlete in any of the competitions expressly authorized by this resolution and the respective training sessions.
Initially, these measures will be in force from today until April 12.
