ONCE holds its Regional Council meeting in the Valencian Community in Benidorm

The Plenary Hall of Benidorm City Hall hosted this morning the meeting of the ONCE Territorial Council in the Valencian Community, chaired by its president, Enrique Llin. Before this meeting, the organisation's delegation was received by Mayor Toni Pérez.
In addition to Enrique Llin, the reception was also attended by the Vice President of the Council, María Jesé; the General Counsel of ONCE, Ana Díaz; and regional executives such as José Manuel Pichel, Belén Boronat, Estela Medina, Mari Luz Menéndez, and the director of ONCE in Benidorm, Vicente J. Vázquez. During the visit to the Mayor's Office, representatives of the blind organisation conveyed to the mayor the concerns of ONCE and blind people for the coming months.
The Territorial Council of ONCE in the Valencian Community is the democratically elected body of the organisation's members in the region and represents and safeguards their interests and relations with the administration and other organisations. Today's Council debated the reality of blind people in the Valencian Community. Yesterday, the members met with members assigned to the ONCE agency in Benidorm to hear their thoughts firsthand.
