A new edition of the Outlet Fair kicks off in Benidorm with fourteen participating retailers

17 October 2025
Arranca en Benidorm una nueva edición de la ‘Feria Outlet’ con catorce comercios participantes

Starting this Friday, Plaza de los Reyes de España hosts a new edition of the Outlet Fair, organised by the Independent Association of Merchants of Benidorm and the Region (AICO), in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of the Benidorm City Council. The city's mayor, Toni Pérez, participated this morning in the official opening of the fair alongside the president of AICO, Raúl Parra; the Councillor for Commerce, Javier Jordá; and other members of the merchants' association and the Municipal Corporation.

This year, 14 establishments distributed in 28 tents are exhibiting their stock with discounts starting at 50%. The products cover a wide range of products: from fashion and footwear to sporting goods, household appliances, textiles, and household items. The aim is to clear out warehouses for the winter season, especially at a time when there is less commercial activity due to the proximity of other campaigns with significant discounts, such as Black Friday.

The opening of this trade fair took place this morning and will continue until next Sunday evening. Both today and tomorrow, Saturday, the fair's opening hours will run from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., while on Sunday it will also open at 10:30 a.m. but close at 9:00 p.m. During this time, in addition to discounted products, the public will also find children's inflatables and a bar area, which this year is once again managed by the Association of Bars and Restaurants (ABRECA).

Likewise, on Sunday at noon, the merchants' association will raffle off three shopping vouchers worth €350, €200, and €150 among all shoppers.

The mayor toured all the exhibitors and highlighted the "good turnout seen in these first few hours of operation," which he attributed to the fact that "it's a well-established and attractive fair for consumers because it sells high-quality products at very good prices, alongside the stands of associations and organisations," such as Anémona Marina Baixa.

Toni Pérez also emphasised the fact that this is the twelfth edition of the fair and expressed his confidence that "it will operate as in previous years so that our merchants and buyers are satisfied, which is what it's all about." The mayor also encouraged residents of Benidorm and other parts of the region and the province of Alicante to attend this event, which he described as "a regional benchmark for what a trade fair is all about," while also expressing the City Council's attention and collaboration "with all the merchants who are here today and with the rest of the city's merchants, as it should be." "We hope it will be a success and a very good economic boost for all participants," he concluded.

For his part, AICO President Raúl Parra expressed confidence that this new edition will result in "a record-breaking fair in terms of visitors" and emphasized that these types of events "are a focal point for the entire city's public throughout the weekend, as many people who come to the fair can then go for a walk on the beach, have a drink in a café, or shop in other stores."
