New distribution of masks on Wednesday in Benidorm among those born before 1970

Nou repartiment de mascaretes el dimecres a Benidorm entre els nascuts abans de 1970...

Benidorm City Council will once again distribute free masks to the population born before 1970 next Wednesday, March 31, the last day of school activity before the start of Easter holidays. This has been announced this morning by the mayor, Toni Pérez, who specified that the delivery points will be Casa del Fester and José Llorca Linares, La Torreta and Tanit social centers.

Toni Pérez recalled the importance of "prevention and compliance with hygienic and sanitary security measures as the most effective way to combat Covid-19", and among them the "mandatory use of masks". The mayor has specified that citizens who wish may go to the distribution center closest to their home, from 10:00 to 13:00 in the morning and from 17:00 to 19:00, afternoons. As in previous occasions, only the presentation of the DNI will be necessary.

The mayor thanked "the exemplary behavior" of the population of Benidorm for more than a year fighting against the epidemic disease. A citizenry that "has known how to respect the instructions issued by the health authorities from the first moment and must continue to do so until the end - he insisted - if we want to defeat the pandemic." Toni Pérez stressed that "we should remain very vigilant" and reiterated that the City Council "will continue to guarantee health security in all areas that depend on us and will continue to provide the population with access to protection systems."
