Digitized copies of documents can be requested as well as an appointment to make face-to-face consultations

The Municipal Archive enables consultation of documents during phase 0 of the restrictions lifting

05 May 2020
El Archivo Municipal habilita la consulta de sus fondos durante la fase 0 de la desescalada

The Municipal Archive has enabled the consultation of its documents from this Monday, once phase 0 of the restrictions lifting plan decreed by the Government of Spain comes into force. The Councilor for Historical Heritage, Ana Pellicer, has indicated that "this service is included within this initial phase, hence we are going to make mechanisms available to citizens that allow them to access the Municipal Archive both telematically and in person" . "In the latter case," she stressed, "an appointment is necessary in order to organize the service and guarantee that two users do not coincide in the consultation room."

Pellicer has indicated that “people interested in specific documentation can request it by the email file@benidorm.org. Once the document is located, a digitalized copy will be sent to the user, thus avoiding movement ”.

This email will also be available for requesting an appointment, as well as the telephone number 966815486. The staff of the Municipal Archive will specify the date of the consultation, which will take place between 09:00 and 14:00.
