La Concejalía de Educación ha dispuesto un servicio de autobús gratuito para trasladar al alumnado a La Nucia, localidad en la que se realizan los exámenes de la EBAU

More than 250 students from Benidorm start the acces tests for University tomorrow

Autobuses EBAU a La Nucia

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7, more than 250 high school students from Benidorm will face the access tests for University, which this year, and after two courses marked by the pandemic, will be held again in the neighbouring town of La Nucia. According to the data provided by the Department of Education, which is directed by Maite Moreno, "202 students of those who present themselves to the EBAU study at one of the five Benidorm Secondary Schools, while the remaining 51 are students of the centre private".

The councillor of Education has recalled that "to facilitate the movement of students to La Nucia, as on previous occasions, the Department of Education has provided a free bus service that, upon registration, can be used by students who wish." This service has one outward and two return trips, as well as two routes: Levante and Poniente, each with six stops.

Depending on the route, the buses will leave from the first stop between 07:35 and 07:45 and will arrive in La Nucia around 08:20, 40 minutes before the first Selectivity tests begin. To return to Benidorm, departures have been planned from the IES de La Nucía at 5:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Moreno has wished all the students who take the Selectivity exams from tomorrow and until Thursday "the best of luck in these tests with which they complete a training stage and begin the path to higher education."
Continuous Session

Coinciding with the preparation for these exams and with those of the university, since last Monday the students of Benidorm have a space in the social centre 'José Llorca Linares' in which they can study in a wide schedule. Specifically, from Monday to Friday, the hours offered are from 10:00 p.m. – when the ordinary activity of the social centre ends – until 01:00 a.m.: while on Saturdays and Sundays the service is active from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 a.m.

Moreno recalled that "according to the different exam sessions, the 'Sessió Continua' program has two periods: the first until June 16 and the second from June 27 to July 13".
