Temporarily, Doctor Pérez Llorca cannot be accessed, and the streets Bilbao, Sacerdote Juan Rodríguez and Periodista y Escritor Emilio Romero change direction

Mobility reorders since Monday access to the old town from the Mediterráneo Avenue because of the progress of the works

28 November 2018
Movilidad reordena a partir del lunes el acceso al casco antiguo desde Mediterráneo por el avance de las obras

The Department of Mobility is going to introduce from Monday, December 3, changes in access to the old town from Mediterráneo Avenue for the progress of the works of remodeling this road. To achieve a better reordering, these changes will affect the streets: Doctor Pérez Llorca, Bilbao, Sacerdote Juan Rodríguez and Periodista y Escritor Emilio Romero.

Thus, from the next week and provisionally, it will not be possible to access Doctor Pérez Llorca Street, and vehicles that circulate through Mediterráneo Avenue towards Plaza de la Hispanidad direction must necessarily continue to Esperanto Street. Only authorized vehicles can turn left -to re-enter the Mediterranean-, as in the case of the users of the fords affected by the cut.

On the other hand, the circulation in Bilbao, Sacerdote Juan Rodríguez, and Peridista Emilio Romero will be reversed.

Thus, access to the old town will be carried out through Bilbao Street and Alcoy Avenue, which from this point to El Torrejó will be of double direction. Access to Valencia Street for residents will also be made from Avenida de Alcoy.

The vehicles that are incorporated to Mediterráneo Avenue from Sacerdote Juan Rodriguez street will have to turn to right and circulate towards Rincón de Loix.

On the other hand, the vehicles that go down Arco Iris street will have to follow Esperanto street.

In addition, temporarily the bus stop located in Coblanca 2 building will be moved to Esperanto Street.
