Los Mayorales 2018 se presentan a la Virgen del Sufragio

The mayorals of the Commission of Major Festivities 2018 were presented this morning to the Virgin of Suffrage in a mass and the traditional song to the 'Mare de Deu' in the parish of San Jaime and Santa Ana. Together with the president of the commission, Francisco Marín, the councillor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the queens of 2017, Anna Galiana and Ángela Antón; as well as the members of the board of directors and the more than 150 principals that will form this year the commission.

Francisco Marín addressed some attendees wishing that "this is a year to strengthen friendships and make new ones, working with enthusiasm" and added that "Our Lady of Suffrage and Saint James, our patrons, will accompany us throughout this year to give us encouragement. " After the traditional "Visca la Mare de Deu del Sofratge, Visca Sant Jaume, Visca Benidorm", the attendees have moved to the chapel of the Virgin to offer her singing.
