Marta Martínez wins the 'Isidro Cortina' award for the best student in Marina Baixa

Marta Martinez, the young girl from Callosa, has received today from the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and from the president of the Rotary Club of Benidorm, Andrés Laporta, the 'Isidro Cortina' prize, which, as every year, the entity gives to the student from Marina Baixa with the best qualification in the entrance exams to the university. The student is currently studying Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and reached the highest score of all the participants: 11,674 out of a maximum of 12.

The 'Isidro Cortina' Prize has celebrated its eighth edition this year at Madeira Centro Hotel in Benidorm. The award rewards the effort to study with an aid of 3,000 euros and is the only one of these characteristics that takes place in Spain.
