A manifesto and candles in memory of AIDS victims to commemorate World Disease Day

30 November 2019
Un manifiesto y velas en memoria de las víctimas del SIDA para conmemorar el Día Mundial de la enfermedad

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Health, Mónica Gómez; the national deputy Agustín Almodóbar; and several councillors of the municipal corporation have accompanied the members of Friends Association to help people affected by HIV-AIDS this afternoon, in the reading of the manifesto of the' World AIDS Day ', which is commemorated tomorrow and has taken place in Gambo street. A manifesto in which the president of the association, Arnulfo González, has advocated continuing to invest in research to get a cure, and which has also influenced the prevention of venereal diseases. With the symbolic lighting of candles, people killed by the disease have been remembered, and all the support has been transferred to those who suffer from it.
