Local Police informs about cuts and deviations of traffic on the occasion of the II Setmana Ciclista Valenciana

Benidorm will be this Sunday, February 25, start and finish of the fourth and final stage of the II Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, in which 174 runners of 29 women's teams participate. The development of the test will force to cut traffic on the streets that are part of the circuit and to divert traffic through alternative routes.

The neutralized exit of the race is scheduled at 12:00 a.m. from Jaime I Avenue - at the height of the petrol station -, the same point at which the goal will be set, which the runners will begin to cross at about 15.25 o'clock.

To facilitate the circulation to drivers during Sunday, the Local Police has reported traffic conditions that will be in Benidorm while the test is disputed. Thus, at 11.00 am on Sunday will proceed to cut the circuit traffic, which will reopen at 15.30 hours. A circuit that, in Benidorm, will run along the avenues Jaime I, Alfonso Puchades, Comunitat Valenciana and Comunitat Europea towards Paseo Els Tolls. Continue along the path parallel to the Palace of Justice and the Invattur until it connects with the CV-70, from where it will connect with the old Finestrat road (CV-758), leaving the municipality of Benidorm.

Later and after going through the terms of Finestrat, Orxeta and Villajoyosa, the runners will enter Benidorm through Villajoyosa avenue, and they will continue along the avenues Murtal, Vicente Pérez Devesa, Cuba and Ricardo Bayona until they reach the goal located in Jaime I.

The conditions and alternatives to traffic transferred by the Local Police are the following:

-Zone of La Cala going down Av. Villajoyosa: entrance and exit on crossing Av. Mont-Benidorm towards Benissa street, and Aigües street, under the brigde Av. Villajoyosa (Coblanca-21) towards Av. Marina Baixa .

-Zone of La Cala going up Av. Villajoyosa (zone Denia street, Calpe street, CDT, Avda. Marinas Alta and Baixa): exit Pinar street (school La Cala) to roundabout R-3 and climb by Av Juan Pablo-II to connect with N-332 variant towards Alicante or Valencia (and connect with the urban area of ​​Benidorm) going down by European Community Avenue), or towards the Terra Mítica roads to connect with CV-70 towards La Nucía .

-Zone of Poniente going up Av. Armada Española (Hotel Poseidón Playa area, C / Uruguay, Paraguay, etc.): exit through C / Rep. Argentina, C / Uruguay and C / Paraguay towards Av. Vicente Pérez Devesa in direction towards La Cala. Departure also by Av. Armada Española, Av. Villajoyosa and obligatory entrance by additional lane towards Av. ENTRANCE TO BENIDORM TROUGH LEVANTE: N-332, AP-7, Av. European Community: the entry of cars and vehicles will be allowed to be diverted by the Salto del Agua roundabout, to Salto del Agua School Complex - Camí Salto del Agua and Valencian Community Av.

Couches and regular and discretional buses will only be able to access the Bus Station (they will have to stand waiting at Salto del Agua School Complex exit, Nou Llondro Street) until they are given access to the Bus Station.

Other discretionary buses will not be able to access the urban center: they will be diverted by an alternative to access Benidorm on Av. Comunitat Valenciana from Ermita de Sanz (El Cisne area).

ENTRY TO BENIDORM THROGH PONIENTE- TERRA MÍTICA TOLL:

It can be accessed by going down Av. Juan Pablo-II - C / Murtal - deviating obligatorily on Av. Marina Baixa, and ACCESS TO LA CALA under the bridge of Aigües street towards Santander street.
