The Housewives Association of Benidorm celebrate their Christmas Festival

18 December 2025
Las Amas de Casa de Benidorm celebran su Festival de Navidad

Benidorm Housewives Association held its Christmas Festival at the Casa del Fester Diego Cano Enguera. Before the show began, the association's president, Vini Pérez, addressed the attendees to thank them for coming and, on behalf of all the members, wished the entire city a Merry Christmas.

Following this, the association's Canfali Choir, under the direction of its conductor and maestro, Francisco José Rovira Peretó, performed a selection of traditional Christmas carols. Among them was "Follow That Star," a traditional melody that was sung in Benidorm on Three Kings' Day," recalled Vini Pérez, and which "was lost years ago, but thanks to the collaboration between the housewives and Rovira Peretó, has been revived by the choir."

The event was attended by the Councillor for Equality and Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, along with Councilor Luis Navarro (Street Cleaning), who joined the choir at times in singing popular Christmas carols.

The festival concluded with a tasting of traditional pastries and local mistela (a sweet wine), which the association offered to the attendees.
