Half an hour free in Mercado and Tomás Ortuño car parks to experience the final of Benidorm Fest and the Euroclub
The public car parks of Mercado and Tomás Ortuño will offer half an hour of free parking to people who come to the centre of Benidorm during the weekend to experience the atmosphere surrounding the Benidorm Fest. The Department of Mobility and Telpark, the company that manages both car parks, are promoting this initiative, which will be operational from Friday, January 31, to Sunday, January 2.
Specifically, 1,500 30-minute discount tickets have been issued; each user can redeem theirs when paying for parking.
The Councillor for Mobility, Francis Muñoz, explained that these discount tickets “will be available in the 21 restaurants participating in the ‘Tapa Fest’ gastronomic competition. Most of them are located in the centre of Benidorm where the parallel and complementary activities to the festival are concentrated.”
These activities include the Euroclub and the broadcast of the final gala on Saturday, which will determine the name of the winner of the Benidorm Fest and the next representative of Spain at Eurovision. The first will take place on Friday from 7:00 p.m. at Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de l’Aigüera and there will be performances by Nebulossa, Blanca Paloma, Almácor, Marta Sango, Megara, Sofia Coll and Chloe Delarosa and DJs Víctor Escudero and Dennis Moore.
The final can be followed on a giant screen from the Gastro League space at Plaza SSMM Reyes de España. The activity starts every day at noon, and 12 food trucks serving different styles of food have been installed there.
