'Guillermo Amor' hosts the Solidarity League FEAFV in Levante area

El ‘Guillermo Amor’ acoge la Liga Solidaria FEAFV de la zona Levante

The Sports City 'Guillermo Amor' will host the final phase of the Solidarity League of the Spanish Federation of Veteran Football Players 2018 (FEAFV), which will be held from 10.00 am on Tuesday, May 1. The matches will last 30 minutes and will compete with Benidorm CD Valencia CF, Elche FC, Cartagena CF, Levante UD, CD Castellón, Hércules CF and Albacete Balompié.

The Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, has presented this league, accompanied by the president of the Association of Ex Footballers of Benidorm CD, José Fuster. The councillor has demonstrated "the bet" for all sports "and at all levels to turn Benidorm into a sportive tourist destination" complementary and "ideal" to the sun and beach. Cabrillo encouraged the fans of the king sport to attend 'Guillermo Amor' to "stimulate with their presence an important cast of historical clubs of our national football."

The councillor indicated that the competition will be played in a league format and that two groups have been formed. The A, in which Levante UD, Cartagena FC, Elche FC and Valencia CF are framed; and the B, where Hécules CF, Albacete Balompié and CD Castellón will be measured with the CD Benidorm. In this sense, José Fuster, who thanked "the involvement" of Benidorm City Council in the organization of this phase of the Veterans League, indicated that the two winning teams of each group will be classified for the final to be held in Oliva from May 26 to 27

The president of the veterans of the Benidorm CD encouraged all citizens to attend the 'Guillermo Amor' because you can "see again and enjoy players who have played all their professional careers in first and second division teams. The matches of the local team will be at 11.05 against Castellón; at 12.15 against Hércules and at 13.25 against Albacete.
