This competition was already a success last year with the participation of 16 teams in a day in which a good sporting and recreational atmosphere reigned. However, for those who register before June 7, there will be a discounted of 20 euros.
“At the City Council we like to promote indoor football and sports activities in general with these initiatives that we always support,” said the councillor, who specified that the tournament hours will be from noon to midnight.
Luis Ivorra, the club representative, highlighted the “great success achieved last year” and specified that due to the dates and the expected ambient temperature, “the first hours of the tournament will be played on the indoor court.” He has also announced that “food and drink for the participants and the municipal swimming pool will be open.”
The first prize will consist of 500 euros, a trophy and a discount voucher to participate in the tournament's next edition. The second will be endowed with 300 euros, a trophy and a discount voucher. The third prize will award 120 euros, a trophy and a discount voucher and the fourth prize will award 60 euros, a trophy and a discount voucher. Likewise, there will be a trophy for the top scorer and the team with the most fair play.
The objective, as Ivorra added, is to “consolidate this event that has not been held since 2017 in Benidorm because the city deserves a sports day like this.”
