Education trains teachers in the early detection of vision problems in children

The Department of Education has programmed, in collaboration with the Department of Education and the Optometrists College of the Valencian Community, a series of courses in schools in the city with the aim of training teachers and support staff in the early detection of vision problems in students and seek a solution with the involvement of parents and trainers.

The sessions, directed by the specialist Mª José Albalá, have already taken place at the 'José Llorca Linares' Social Center and at El Murtal and Els Tolls Schools. Today it has been the turn for Mestre Gaspar López and Leonor Canalejas. The last session will take place in Serra Gelada, on Wednesday. All public schools, municipal nursery schools and the catholic school Nuestra Señora de los Dolores have been invited to the courses.
