It is aimed at children aged 3 to 12 and will take place from June 23 to 30 at Miguel Hernández school
The Education department and Parents' Associations (AMPAS) are organizing the 'June School' to cover families' needs until the start of the 'Summer School'

The Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations (FAMPA Marina Baixa), in collaboration with the City Council's Department of Education, has organised the "June School," an initiative aimed at children ages 3 to 12. The initiative seeks to promote work-life balance and help local families until the start of the "Summer School" activities. The Councillor for Education, Maite Moreno, explained that "generally, many schools and work-life balance activities—both public and private—organised during the summer school holidays usually start on July 1st, with no offers until the end of June, when the school calendar has already ended."
Therefore, "thinking of families who need this resource for their children during these last days of the month, this 'June School' is being launched, offering a space where they can engage in a wide variety of activities designed to entertain and educate, while facilitating family work-life balance."
This 'June School' will run from June 23rd to 30th at the Miguel Hernández public preschool and primary school. The school's regular hours will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., although there will be a 'Morning Service' between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for families who start work early, at no additional cost. In addition, between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., children are also offered the option of eating lunch brought from home at the school's facilities.
The price of this school will be €75 for families affiliated with the Parents' Association (AMPA) and €90 for non-affiliated families. Registration is open until June 10th at https://trokolo.com/juniobenidorm/
Councilor Maite Moreno noted that "just a few days ago, we announced the 'Afternoon School' program for June; today, we are presenting another initiative designed to support families, this 'June School,' and in the coming weeks, we will announce the opening of registration for the 'Summer School.'" In this regard, she emphasized that "we offer numerous options to households to meet their needs during the school holidays, with services provided by specialized instructors." She also thanked the Marina Baixa Family and Family Association (FAMPA) "for their full collaboration with these activities, which are so positive for both the parents and the students who participate."
