Benidorm celebra este viernes la XL fiesta de entrega de medallas de los Juegos Multideportivos Escolares

This Friday, May 30, Guillermo Amor Sports City will host the 40th Medal Ceremony for the Benidorm Multi-Sport School Games, organised by the municipal sports technicians and the Department of Sports, in collaboration with the Department of Education. Sports Councillor Javier Jordá announced that this event is expected to "bring together nearly 600 schoolchildren from the thirteen public schools and one private school in our city who participate in this activity throughout the school year."

Jordá explained that these Multi-Sport School Games "are in their 43rd year this year," and therefore, throughout their history, thousands of children in Benidorm have been introduced to sports thanks to this municipal initiative."

The Medal Ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., with a variety of games organised for all participating schoolchildren, both in the pelota courts and on the Nerea Pérez Machado and Hermanos Martínez Munuera artificial turf fields. Following this, at 6:30 p.m., the medal ceremony will begin for all the children in recognition of their attendance and participation in these School Games.

The schools with participating students in the under-10 and under-12 categories are the public schools Serra d'Aitana, Ausiàs March, Bautista Lledó, Els Tolls, El Murtal, Gabriel Miró, La Cala, Leonor Canalejas, Mestre Gaspar López, Miguel Hernández, Puig Campana, Serra Gelada, and Vasco Núñez de Balbora, and the catholic school Ntra. Sra. de los Dolores.
