Culture exhibits a selection of photographs from # SomFMP2019 contest at Espai d'Art

The Department of Culture exhibits from today until March 20 in the Espai d'Art of Benidorm City Hall a selection of fifty photographs of the I Photo Contest # Som2019 on Instagram, which was held last November on the occasion of Festes Majors Patronals 2019. Among the snapshots chosen and that can also be seen through the hashtag of the contest on the Instagram social network, there are those that their theme is related to the cultural and festive field.

In order to participate in the contest, the photographs must be unpublished, original and be able to prove the author's audit in the institutional profile.

The jury, which has selected the winning work, has been composed of members of the Department of Culture, Association of Clubs 'Verge del Sofratge' and Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals 2020. The winning photograph has been the work by the author Orihob Jorge Martínez Bodal, a young man from Benidorm who is currently working in La Coruña and whose photograph includes the celebration of the 'Correfoc'.

Jaime Jesús Pérez, Councilor for Culture wanted to "thank Associació of Clubs and Comissió de Festes for their help in the dissemination of this first contest, which I am sure will increase in participation in the next edition."
