Las Fallas 2023 is just around the corner. Hundreds of residents and visitors followed this Saturday afternoon the act that announces the imminent arrival of the Josefinas festivities, the 'Crida' and in which the three Fallas entities of Benidorm -Els Tolls, Rincón de Loix, and the Centro District- invited to citizens to participate in these celebrations. An act that was held, as is traditional, on Gambo street and attended by, among others, the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; and members of the Municipal Corporation.

Around 7:00 p.m., the 'Crida' opened with the rise on the stage of the president of the Fallera Local Board, Ana Finez; of the representatives of the three commissions with their banners; and of the falleras of Fallas Rincón de Loix and Benidorm Central District, Laura Gálvez and Valentina Romero and Sonia Ferré and Isabella Sola.

Later, in a joint speech, the 'Crida' itself, the four falleras proclaimed the closeness of the festivities and invited Benidorm residents and tourists to accompany them and enjoy them.

The mayor also joined the Crida of 'Ja estem en Falles' pronounced by the four falleras, who assured that "there is desire and enthusiasm" for these upcoming festivities. After thanking "the efforts of the three commissions and the Local Board" especially in years as hard as those lived, Toni Pérez stressed that "in a few days Benidorm is going to dress up for a party and it is going to do it in the heat and the color of a festival that is a World Heritage Site, that belongs to the world and that is also celebrated here”.

To the visitors who were following the act of the 'Crida' and who will soon return to their cities of origin, the mayor invited them "to return to Benidorm soon, in ten or twelve days, because we have a great party for you". Finally, he wished the three entities and the entire city that these imminent Fallas "are all we expect of them."

With the Fallas calendar already underway, the next big event will be on the 15th with the 'Plantà' of the Fallas monuments.
