The Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals organizes the traditional 'Easter Fair' this weekend

La Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals organiza este fin de semana la tradicional ‘Fira de Pasqua’

The 2026 Patron Saint Fiestas Committee, in collaboration with Benidorm City Council's Department of Fiestas, will hold the traditional Easter Fair this weekend, where festival organisers and collaborating organisations will sell crafts, food, and other typical products for this time of year. The Councillor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, and the president of the Committee, Ramón Cano, presented all the details of this fair today. The fair aims to offer the public a market "full of tradition, flavour, and culture" and will also serve to raise funds for the organisation of the main festivals next November.

The Easter Fair will take place in Elche Park on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Mariló Cebreros emphasised that this fair is “a firmly established event on Benidorm’s festive calendar, which will once again fill Elche Park with tradition and atmosphere this weekend.” She also highlighted that it is “an opportunity to showcase our gastronomy and traditional crafts, especially those from this time of year.”

The councilwoman further indicated that this event also “contributes to revitalising the city during a particularly important period for us, namely Holy Week, generating activity, supporting local businesses, and creating an atmosphere designed for everyone to enjoy.”

For his part, the president of the Fiestas Committee explained that among the products the organisers will have for sale, the public will find “salted fish, vermouth, bread, and other items such as secondhand books, ceramics, handcrafted wickerwork, and a bar to liven things up.”

She also highlighted that palm fronds will be sold, especially so that the city's children can wear them in the Palm Sunday processions, which are also celebrated on the 29th.

Both Mariló Cebreros and Ramón Campos invited residents and visitors to "enjoy this fair, buy some of the products, and sample the drinks and snacks that will be offered at the bar," with the aim of "having a pleasant time and supporting the Patron Saint Festivities."
