The event takes place at Casa del Fester with extended hours "to facilitate maximum attendance for members and citizens"
The Clubs Association is celebrating a new edition of its 'Solidarity Festival' today.

Benidorm Verge del Sofratge Penyes Association is celebrating today a new edition of its traditional "Solidarity Festival," a blood donation event held at Casa del Fester from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The requirements to donate blood are to be at least 18 years old, weigh more than 50 kilos, not come to donate on an empty stomach, and bring an ID. The Association and the Festival Department have encouraged all members of the community and the public to come and donate blood.
The Councillor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, stated that "we have provided ample hours to make it as easy as possible for members of the community and the general public to participate in this solidarity initiative, which aims to save lives." Thus, she emphasised that "with one blood donation, up to three lives can be saved" and expressed her conviction that "once again, the community of supporters and Benidorm will fully embrace this donation event, thus demonstrating their most altruistic and caring side."
Likewise, the Councillor for Festivals noted that "experience from previous years confirms that these events are always an opportunity to attract new donors, who subsequently respond to other calls periodically held by the Transfusion Centre, as the need for blood remains constant throughout the year."
