El Ayuntamiento entrega mascarillas a la población infantil de programas y actividades municipales

Benidorm is go

+¡`'0ng to deliver masks to children who attend programs and activities organized by the City Council or who are users of municipal offices. The mayor, Toni Pérez, explained that “the care of children has been one of the priorities of+ action of this City Council since the Covid-19 health crisis began, and continues to be so at this time in the one that is necessary to maintain all the preventive measures and not to relax vigilance ".

For this reason, “starting today, we are going to carry out a new distribution of masks among the child population that throughout the summer participates in the courses of the municipal sports schools and in the Summer Educational Support Program (PAEV), and also to those who attend the 'Teatre d'Estiu' shows organized by the Department of Culture in Foietes Park ”.

In addition, these protection systems will be delivered "to boys and girls who go to the municipal library and to students from 2 to 3 years of age in municipal nursery schools."

Toni Pérez recalled that "precisely the child population was the first to which we delivered masks on a massive scale during the state of alarm, to encourage them to enjoy safely their first authorized outings; a measure that we subsequently extended to the rest of the people registered in Benidorm, paying special attention to the most vulnerable population segment: those over 65 years of age ”. In fact, today a new distribution of masks has been carried out among people aged 65 and over at the six points set up by the City Council for the delivery of the menus of the municipal school program 'Menjadors home'.

The mayor has stressed that "from the City Council we will continue betting on prevention and strictly applying all health guidelines and regulations in the activities and programs that are organized, as we have already done when planning and ordering the return to municipal nursery schools, in the implementation of the PAEV, in the development of sports schools and in cultural programming ”. In all these cases, the facilities, capacity and operations of the programs and activities have been adapted to guarantee the maintenance of the safety distance and to comply with the maximum quotas of participants established by state and regional regulations.
