El Ayuntamiento adquiere once vehículos para renovar la flota de la Policía Local

Benidorm City Council is going to acquire eleven new vehicles to renew part of the Local Police fleet. This has been agreed by the Local Government Board of the Benidorm City Council, which has given the green light to the proposal made by the technicians of the Contracting area for the award of the financial leasing supply contract through the leasing system of said passenger cars, with a duration of four years and whose total amount will reach 641,319.36 euros, as explained by the councilor of the area, Aida García Mayor.

The contract is divided into three different lots. On the one hand, 'Lot 1' includes the acquisition of four urban SUV tourism vehicles, with police badges, for which four companies opted in the bidding procedure called by the City Council. Of them, the proposal best valued by technicians is the one made by a dealer for a total amount of 231,855.36 euros, with VAT included.

The second of the lots, called 'Lot 2', involves acquiring three urban SUV tourism vehicles without police markings. The technical evaluation carried out on the four aspiring companies has left the best offer as the one valued at 148,104 euros, as detailed in the award proposal.

Finally, 'Lot 3' includes acquiring four other urban SUV tourism vehicles with police badges and a detainee kit. The company that obtained the best score is the one that offered a total price of 261,360 euros for four years, as explained by the Councilor for Contracting.

Aída García Mayor stated that, once the award proposal has been approved and, after verifying that the companies have deposited the definitive guarantee and have provided all the required documentation, the companies will proceed with the supply of these eleven new vehicles by the provisions of the list of administrative clauses and technical prescriptions that govern the contract.
