The Choir of Benidorm Unión Musical celebrates its 15th anniversary on Saturday with a concert

Benidorm Unión Musical Choir will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary this weekend with a concert entitled ‘Our history’ which will take place on Saturday 15 February at 7pm in the Town Hall Assembly Hall. Attendance is free and is limited to the capacity of the venue. The UMB Choir will be directed by Joaquín García Fernández.

The programme to be performed will begin with the popular pieces ‘La meua xiqueta’ and ‘De colores’. It will continue with ‘América’, ‘Edelweiss’ and ‘What a wonderful world’. Afterwards, the work ‘Moon river’ by Henry Mancini will be played, ‘Unchained melody’, ‘Te quiero, dijiste’ by María Grever, ‘El día que me quieras’ by Carlos Gardel, ‘Ave María’ by Caccini, ‘Va, pensiero’ by G. Verdi and will end with the work by Mozart ‘Ave verum corpus’.
