Casa del Fester Diego Cano Enguera is hosting an exhibition by the painter Javier Martínez from today entitled ‘Colours in Action’. The Councillor inaugurated the exhibition for Culture of the Benidorm City Council, Jaime Jesús Pérez, together with the artist himself and other members of the municipal Corporation, who have seen first-hand the author’s explanations and the importance that colour has in the final composition of all his works.

Born in Hontanaya (Cuenca), although based in Valencia, Javier Martínez is a Biology teacher. However, his passion for painting has led him to have extensive work that has evolved from the realist painting of his beginnings to impressionism and, later, to abstract art, an evolution that he describes in this exhibition.

‘Colours in Action’ can be visited until next Wednesday, August 14, on the ground floor of the Casa del Fester, from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
