Benidorm acogerá los tres partidos de la Ronda Elite UEFA de selección española de fútbol sub 19

Guillermo Amor Sports Complex in Benidorm will host the three matches that the Spanish Under-19 national team will play in the UEFA Elite Round. These matches serve as qualifiers for the European Championship, which will take place in Wales from June 28 to July 11 of this year. The three opponents the Spanish team will face are Slovenia, Finland, and the Netherlands, and only the team that finishes first in its group will qualify for the final tournament.

In addition to Guillermo Amor Stadium, the other matches will be played at Antonio Solana and José Rico Pérez stadiums, both in Alicante, and Camilo Cano Stadium in La Nucía. The Spain-Slovenia match will be played in Benidorm on Wednesday, the 25th, at 6:00 PM, while the Finland-Netherlands match will be played in La Nucía at 3:00 PM. The second round will see the Netherlands face Slovenia on Saturday, the 28th, at 3:00 PM at Antonio Solana Stadium, followed by Spain playing Finland at 6:00 PM at Guillermo Amor Stadium. Finally, on Tuesday the 31st, both matches will be played at the same time, 6:00 PM. Spain and the Netherlands will play at Guillermo Amor Stadium, while Slovenia and Finland will play at Rico Pérez Stadium in Alicante.

With these matches, Benidorm once again positions itself at the European epicentre of elite international football, while Guillermo Amor Stadium becomes a key venue for a generation of footballers seeking to qualify for the next European Championship in their age group. Among the players called up by coach Paco Gallardo are some who have already made their debuts in La Liga with their clubs, such as Xavi Espart (FC Barcelona) and Thiago Pitarch (Real Madrid).
