Benidorm will host the 1st Meeting of Local Police Officers of the Valencian Community in March
Benidorm Local Police Headquarters has presented this morning the First Meeting of Local Police Officers of the Valencian Community. The Councilor for Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez, and the Benidorm Local Police Commissioner have been accompanied by police chiefs from the provinces of Alicante and Valencia, along with representatives of police unions.
This meeting is part of a training session that will be complemented institutionally and socially on Friday, March 25.
The Local Police Coordination Law of the Valencian Community meant that in 2016, within the National Union of Local Police Chiefs and Commanders, UNIJEMPOL emerged as the embryonic group that has managed to bring together 265 officers and has become a benchmark in the autonomous territory. From the group's forum came the idea of celebrating this first meeting in Benidorm and that is open to the participation of members of other categories of the police group and the other State Security Forces and Bodies.
The fundamental axis of this first meeting will focus on the officers who are in service currently and will be a recognition of the police work and its professionalism.
