The improvements offered in a public tender by the company awarded the works of asphalting that are currently running on two broad stretches of the Mediterranean and Villajoyosa avenues - Mediterranean Works and Asphalts (MOA) - will allow action in all neighborhoods from the city. The mayor of Mobility and Works, José Ramón González de Zárate, has transferred that the contract has been awarded for 500,000 euros, and that this improvement consists of a 50.88% more measurement that will be used in asphalting different streets and areas once Finalize the works in the Mediterranean, which have already surpassed the equator.

De Zárate has recalled that the asphalt of the stretch of more than one kilometer that runs between Europe and Atmella del Mar is being improved and is not included in the first phase of remodeling of the avenue of the Mediterranean. This work, proposed by the group Citizens (Cs), will also reach the sidewalks, where the firm will be replaced with concrete pavement at the most deteriorated points to avoid falls.
