Taking advantage of the Liverpool marathon on Sunday, which brought together more than 18,000 athletes, Benidorm has been present at the runner's fair that takes place prior to the race.
Visit Benidorm Foundation, in collaboration with Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and the British tour operator Jet2 Holidays, has had a promotional stand in which people have been shown the attractions of Benidorm for those who love running.
During the two days of the fair, the interest generated by Benidorm and its sporting event has been very remarkable, generating 211 pre-registrations to it, which can be formalized once the official registrations to the test of the next 2020 come out.
This new action is framed in the sports tourism promotion strategy line in Benidorm, whose objective is to promote sport and outdoor activities throughout the year with special emphasis on running and cycling.
Benidorm can boast today of having careers throughout its annual calendar that boast of having an international palmares such as the Benidorm Half or the Vertical Rise to Bali.
