With more than 20 years in the organization, Vicente José Vázquez replaces Anabel Morente, director now in Elche

Benidorm supports ONCE and the inclusive vote in the presentation of its new director in the city

Benidorm apoya a la ONCE y al voto inclusivo en la presentación de su nuevo director en la ciudad

The ONCE premises in Benidorm at Avenida de la Aigüera, 13 have hosted the presentation of the recently appointed director of the organization in the city, Vicente José Vázquez, who replaces Anabel Morente, now director of the entity in Elche.

The act was attended by the president of the ONCE Territorial Council in Alicante, Enrique Llin, and was led by the organization's director in the province, Estela Medina. Vázquez has also had the institutional support of the mayor, Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca and the provincial deputy, José Ramón González de Zárate.

Toni Pérez, in his speech, supported the "real" inclusion of all people with disabilities by recalling that "we can all suffer these circumstances at some point in our lives" and valued the work done in recent years by the City Hall. "Great works - he pointed out - with accessible avenues and streets, a single platform or acoustic traffic lights" that demonstrate "the sensitivity" of the local administration towards the collective.

The mayor also abounded in the creation of 26 jobs in the local administration "all" for people with disabilities. "Benidorm is a city -he said- in love with people who take care of people as the great ONCE family does" and has committed to the proposals launched by Enrique Llin, specifically in the promotion of inclusive voting in Braille in the electoral calls and in the creation of "a street or square" in Benidorm of inclusion.

After the institutional act, the participants have been able to enjoy a small snack on the terrace of the premises.
