From May 10 to 14, the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be celebrated, whose venue will be the Italian city of Turin. Spain participates with the winning song in Benidorm Fest that was held in Benidorm last January, "SloMo", defended by the singer Chanel.

And coinciding with this celebration and with this year's final, the Jury representing RTVE will be in Benidorm and from here, during an event that is being jointly organized by Benidorm City Council and RTVE, Nieves Álvarez will transfer the score from Spain.

The City Council and TVE are outlining the details of the event that will be the previous protagonist of the final gala in Turin and that will gather Eurovision fans in Benidorm and that, during the vote, will project the image of Benidorm internationally.

The second semifinal of Benidorm Fest achieved RTVE the audience leadership in its time slot -1.7 million viewers and up to 6.7 million people who followed the festival at some point- and was once again a worldwide 'trending topic' on Twitter with a reach of more than 130 million users.

The long-awaited grand finale shot up the audience to almost 3 million viewers and in addition to being the most-watched program of the day, the event once again captured the interest of social network users and once again became a worldwide 'trending topic' on Twitter in 13 countries with 385 million users.

Benidorm Fest will have continuity in successive years to continue choosing the representative song of RTVE for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The two semi-finals were watched by 10.7 million people, 91% of whom were between 18 and 34 years old.
