Benidorm has remembered the victims of the 11-M on the 15th anniversary of the attack. Members of the municipal corporation, headed by the mayor, Toni Pérez, have joined the minute of silence in memory of the people who lost their lives in the terrorist attack of March 11, 2004. Precisely today also commemorates the European Day of the victims of terrorism in which the European Union remembers the victims and their families.
In the attack, a total of 193 victims died and thousands were injured in the most serious terrorist attack in Spain perpetrated by al Qaeda.
