Benidorm launches its own marketing portal, which will bring together its accommodation and experiences offer, as it has been announced today by the mayor, Toni Pérez, at a press conference during the opening day of Madrid International Tourism Fair (Fitur) . This is how 'Visit Benidorm Travel' was born, a project in which the public-private Foundation has the Travel Compositor company as a technological 'partner' and the solution to adapt to the legislation on the sale of combined packages, since it works as a travel agency white label.

The mayor explained that "with this project, aligned with Visit Benidorm strategic plan, a more profound turn is given to online, in line with what is established in Benidorm DTI + Seguro Master Plan". In fact, “based on the knowledge of the destination's 'Smart Data', it evolves through digital marketing, adapting the message and the product to the needs of each client”.

During his appearance, he has advanced some details of the project. Thus, as specified by Toni Pérez, "this portal will have the complete offer of the city, which will be incorporated directly into the marketing tool." At the moment, ‘Visit Benidorm Travel’ already has 197 accommodations and dozens of references of complementary offer.

The mayor has clarified that "through the portal not only will it be possible to choose and reserve accommodation for the holidays, but the user will also be able to purchase his flight, train or bus ticket to reach the destination among all the existing connection options" . "In this way, in a single repository you will have all the possibilities to design your vacations, to package them," he pointed out.

‘Visit Benidorm Travel’ operates in 9 languages ​​and offers the possibility of paying in eleven different currencies. Among the information and options that the traveler will find are the popularity ratios of the establishments in different accommodation platforms, the possibility of choosing the pension scheme during their stay, and the activities and experiences that can be hired in the destination. In addition, the portal allows you to save the selection made and specify or modify it later.

But also, as the mayor has stressed, "the marketing and packaging of the destination's products will not only be a very useful tool for end users who want to schedule their holidays in Benidorm as a complement to the offers that already exist in the market. , but it will also bring advantages for the business community ”. “On the one hand - he has deepened - for those who have not yet opted for the digitization of their product, it will be a solution that allows them to market their accommodation or experiences offer; while those who have already taken that step will have one more marketing window with a minimum cost for management, lower than that of other central or reservation platforms ”.

The mayor stressed that this project "will improve the positioning of the destination."

Likewise, “with this project, and in response to a market trend such as direct online reservations with companies, Benidorm innovates again and generates a destination-specific product repository, also convinced that it is a tool that will help resilience of destiny ”.
