The City Council has already helped almost a thousand homes to which it has allocated more than 850,000 euros

Benidorm gives the green light to the 9th remittance of municipal aid to families due to Covid-19

Benidorm da luz verde a la 9ª remesa de ayudas municipales a familias por la Covid-19

This morning, the Local Government Board (JGL), has approved the ninth remittance of Family Aid for Covid-19 that intends to “mitigate the situation suffered by many of the homes in Benidorm suffering from the health, social and economic crisis derived from the pandemic ”, pointed out the acting mayor, José Ramón González de Zárate.

The aid "varies between 600 and 1,364 euros per quarter, depending on the number of members of the family or coexistence unit," pointed out González de Zárate. With this ninth installment, the City Council "will have contributed financial resources to almost a thousand homes in Benidorm."

The ninth consignment will be distributed a total of 95,850, which, to date, the aid granted to families hit by the health crisis add up to 850,300 euros.

González de Zárate recalled that the City Council "is committed" to the social and productive fabric of Benidorm. That is why “this line of aid has been allocated to which 5.5 million euros have been allocated, an amount that will reach the homes of the city throughout 2021”, always trying to “do it as soon as possible and to the people who most they need it". The acting mayor has also shown his support for people who are still waiting to collect Temporary Employment Regulation Records (ERTE) and other subsidies dependent on other administrations “which are the ones that have the commitment and legal obligation to do it".

The ninth remittance of Family Aid for Covid-19 will be published shortly on the notice board of web. A deadline for the presentation of appeals will then be opened, which will count 30 days from the date of publication. Any resource must be presented also in this administrative portal (https://sede.benidorm.org). The corrections, if any, would also be carried out on internet on the same website.
