The Acelera Pyme Office will attend to self-employed workers and companies in person on Monday, October 28, to help them develop their digital project

Benidorm City Council and FEMPA join forces to promote the digitalization of local businesses

15 October 2024
El Ayuntamiento de Benidorm y FEMPA aúnan esfuerzos para impulsar la digitalización de los negocios locales

The Acelera Pyme Office of FEMPA, dependent on the autonomous body Red.es and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, and the Benidorm City Council are going to collaborate to bring closer and help in the achievement of digital transformation to all companies, especially small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) and self-employed workers in our municipality. This has been announced by the Councilor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, who has pointed out that this action is "a great opportunity for self-employed workers and small companies to be able to advance in something as necessary today as the digitalization of their businesses."

Within this collaboration, technicians from the FEMPA Acelera Pyme Office, whose actions are financed by the Smart Growth Operational Program, European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) for the 2021-2027 programming period, will attend to self-employed people and SMEs for thirty minutes to advance their digitalization projects, learn about the available aid and subsidies and be able to process them, free of charge, such as the Digital Kit.

These personalized meetings will take place next Monday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Employment Councilor has advanced, who has also indicated that to participate in them it is necessary to make an appointment. To do so, those interested must register through https://www.fempa.es/oficina-acelera-pyme/pedir-cita, selecting 'scheduled visit by a technician' and the town of Benidorm.

Mónica Gómez has pointed out that, in addition to these personalised meetings, there will also be two workshops on the same topic, both in the Multipurpose Room of the Central Library. The first will take place on Tuesday, 29 October, from 4 to 5 pm, and will focus on ‘ChatGPT and Copilot’. The second will be on Wednesday, 20 November, from 9:30 to 10:30 am, and will focus on ‘Useful Digital Tools’.
