The new Benidorm skating rink will host on Sunday March 24 from 09.00 the 1st Regional Skating Speed Skating Trophy.
Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo has specified that "the skate meets all the technical standards and regulatory measures required by the Valencian Skating Federation: 200 meters of rope, two symmetrical lines and two cant curves that have left a first level track for the practice of this sport, the resins also have thin layers so that there is a greater slip and allow to reach great speeds and to be able to enjoy this competition. The sports coach Alonso PÉrez pointed out that "the day will start with the Minis categories, from 4 years to Master, over 30 years, making various distances, from 200 meters for the smallest to 5,000 points for the higher categories."
During tomorrow's day there will also be a popular promotion race, giving all the participants a commemorative medal.
It is expected a high presence of the public and athletes from all over the Valencian geography.
