Benidorm is 'The Best plan'. With this motto, Benidorm has landed at Madrid International Tourism Fair (Fitur), where among the various promotional actions "the multiplicity of plans and events that take place throughout the year, as many as there are weeks, are being valued the calendar”, as indicated by the mayor, Toni Pérez. Thus, among the tourist products of the destination, one has been created under the name 'Events' in which all the outstanding events that Benidorm will have until the end of 2023 have been gathered.

Specifically, the sporting, musical, cultural and festive events that are already confirmed have been grouped and differentiated and "to which, without a doubt, new ones will be added throughout the year since Benidorm is a pole of attraction for companies, federations, and promoters”.

Toni Pérez transferred that "Benidorm is a seasonally adjusted destination, where tourists always find an event to enjoy and with which to live a unique travel experience, regardless of the time of year when they choose us to spend their holidays" . And that, he affirmed, "gives Benidorm as a tourist destination added value, because it is a proposal and a unique leisure and experiential alternative that cannot be found in other  destinations."

The mayor remarked that “the activity with which we have started this 2023 is clear proof of this deseasonalization of the offer of plans and events; a trend that is going to be maintained in the following 11 months and that has an important economic impact and repercussion since it generates overnight stays and consumption in the destination”.

This has been the case in the recent Spanish Handball Championship for Autonomous Teams (CESA) or the Spanish International Handball Tournament in which Hispanics participated; and as will be the Cyclocross World Championship this weekend, which will be held in the El Moralet area. "A few days before the start of the competition, 9,000 tickets have already been sold for this sporting event, the VIP type having already been sold out", as detailed by the mayor.

Just a week later the Benidorm Fest will be the absolute protagonist. A Benidorm Fest that "before starting the activity of its second edition is already a viral phenomenon that crosses the borders of our country, thus contributing to the national and international positioning of our destination and our tourist brand, and generating millions of economic impact figures. and promotional. Toni Pérez affirmed that "after the experience of the first edition, the expectation for the Benidorm Fest has skyrocketed", and affirmed that "the city and the destination are going to meet the expectations of 'Eurofans”.

And starting in February, music festivals like Low Festival or Regaetton Beach Festival;  Benidorm Pride; Benidorm Half; Taekwondo Open and the international Judo stage; Costa Blanca Cup; Skyline Benidorm Film Festival; the contemporary dance festival 'Les Ones'; the Festes Majors Patronals or the Fancy Dress.

The public that visits Fitur until Sunday will be able to know "the extensive agenda of events in Benidorm by consulting the QR that we have arranged at the stand, and that is part of a composition in which all the tourist offer by-products is referenced".
