Benidorm aprova dos noves remeses d'ajudes a empreses i autònoms, i aconseguix ja els 650 expedients resolts...

The Local Government Board has approved today two new remittances of municipal aid to commerce, companies, SMEs and freelancers against the effects of Covid-19, which already brings to 650 the files resolved by the technical commission that is in charge of studying the applications submitted. Specifically, remittances 10 and 11 have been approved for a global amount of 77,750 euros –50,000 and 27,750 euros, respectively.

The Councilor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, has indicated that “to date, with 11 resolved remittances, 453,000 euros have been injected into the local productive fabric; an amount that has reached more than 500 establishments, companies and professionals in Benidorm ”. Gómez has detailed that “about 80% of the requests evaluated to date have been resolved in a favorable manner, as the applicants comply with the requirements established in the aid bases; while the vast majority of those that have been rejected is due to the fact that the company, professional or activity does not have its fiscal domicile in Benidorm, but in another town ".

The councillor has reported that "the 9 previous remittances have already been paid to the beneficiaries, while the two approved today will be effective this week." Gómez recalled that "the amount of aid ranges between 500 and 1,000 euros depending on the condition that the state of alarm decree caused on the activity." In this way, the aid amounts to 1,000 euros for those who were affected by the closure of establishments; to 750 euros for those who saw their turnover reduced by at least 40% between March 14 and April 19 with respect to the average of the previous six months or the period of high activity; and 500 euros for applicants who have been beneficiaries of municipal aid to families.

Aid to local commerce

Gómez recalled that “in addition to this line, the City Council has launched new aids aimed at local cpmmerce to minimize the impact of Covid-19, which are financed through a 196,960-euro subsidy granted by the Provincial Council from Alicante. The deadline to apply for these new grants has been extended and ends on November 12 at 11:59 p.m. Initially, the aid provides for a maximum amount per establishment of 400 euros. However, if the anticipated 196,690 euros are not exhausted with the approved applications, the aid per establishment will increase depending on the number of beneficiaries.

SMEs and self-employed persons registered on March 14 in group 65 of the Economic Activities Tax - except for groups 652 and 655, and headings 6532, 6534, 6535 and 6592 -, who suspended their activity, are eligible for these aids. due to the entry into force of the state of alarm or, failing that, the establishment's billing for the months of April and May reduced by at least 50% compared to the previous calendar semester ”.
