AFA Marina Baixa claims that Alzheimer's care is focused on the person

21 September 2017
AFA Marina Baixa reivindica que la atención del Alzheimer se centre en la persona

The corporation accompanies the association on the day of the illness, which is commemorated with a release of balloons

The Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's (AFA) Marina Baixa has claimed today that the treatment of the disease givesw "one step more" and focus on "attention to the person." This has been demanded in a manifesto the president of AFA Marina Baixa, Garbiñe Mondragón, during the central act of Alzheimer's Day that has been held this afternoon in Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España, and attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Social Welfare, Angela Llorca; members of the corporation; and volunteers of the association.

After reading the manifesto, based on the motto 'Sigo siendo yo', the mayor and the councillor of Social Welfare have proceeded to the traditional release of balloons together with a patient afflicted with Alzheimer's disease.
